In Wisconsin, we’ve made strides in improving the lives of people living with disabilities over the last several years.  

But we have a long way to go. Wisconsin’s people living with disabilities experience poorer health outcomes than those who do not live life with a disability2. Those with an intellectual disability are doubly maligned: they face isolation, loneliness and being shunned from community. 

But you can help.  

We aim to build communities for people living with intellectual disabilities here in Milwaukee, in Kenosha and around the world. L’Arche is a movement at work in over 150 locations in 37 countries around the world, working every day to offer spaces of welcome and belonging.
