L’Arche USA is part of an International Federation of L’Arche Communities across the world in which people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities and assistants choose to live and work together.

L’Arche International has 133 member communities, established as independent entities in 35 countries.

The International Federation of L’Arche Communities is divided into nine zones:

Southern Europe and the Middle East

United States

L'Arche International's purpose is to unite the communities in the common vision and spirit announced in the Charter of the Communities of L’Arche. The Federation seeks to foster solidarity among communities, ensure unity in diversity, establish the conditions for membership, and to create conditions for trust, service, dialogue, and mutual support.
